An Easter breakfast was organized at the shelter for people experiencing homelessness on Kyrylivska Street. More than 50 people took part, mostly those who use the services of the night shelter.

At the Centre’s shelter, people can not only stay overnight but also receive comprehensive assistance: meals, access to hygiene facilities, social support, assistance in restoring documents, and help in returning to independent living.

On the occasion of Easter, a festive breakfast was traditionally organized for visitors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The breakfast was prepared jointly with partners and charitable organizations. In particular, the Corporation of Good Deeds provided hot meals, while the parish of St. Anna of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Church of the Intercession of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church contributed Easter products – paskas (Easter bread), sausages, and eggs. Additional paskaswere provided by the company Khlibprom.

All dishes were prepared in advance – by the time people arrived, the tables were already set, allowing everyone to have breakfast calmly and in dignified conditions.

“Easter is one of the most important Christian holidays. It is important that people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances also have the opportunity to feel care and support,” said Andrii Oliarnyk, Deputy Director of the Centre.

The event became an opportunity not only to meet people’s basic needs but also to create a sense of celebration, attention, and dignified treatment.
