Dzherelo Is Expanding Its Network: The Centre Has Received Three New Premises in Lviv

During the City Council session on April 30, 2026, a decision was approved to lease three municipal premises to the Dzherelo Centre for Social Services and Rehabilitation. This will allow the Centre to expand its network of services and make support more accessible to residents of the community.

The three locations are:

  • 78 Heroiv UPA Street
  • 2 Lychakivska Street
  • 25 Taras Shevchenko Street (in Dublyany)

In particular, the premises in Dublyany and on Heroiv UPA Street are planned to be adapted for providing day-care services for children and young people with disabilities. Dzherelo already has extensive experience in delivering such services; however, the demand for them within the Lviv community significantly exceeds the current capacity.

Another location – at 2 Lychakivska Street – will become a space for a social canteen, where support will be available for people facing difficult life circumstances.

All premises require renovation and furnishing. The Centre plans to attract extra-budgetary funding and prepare the necessary design and cost-estimation documentation to implement these changes.

Importantly, all locations will be designed with accessibility in mind. This will make the services not only higher in quality, but also closer and more accessible to the people who need them most.

The development of such spaces is a response to real community needs and a step toward ensuring that more people can receive the support they require close to home.

We would also like to remind that day-care centres are already operating at the following locations:

  • 86a Chervona Kalyny Avenue
  • 24 Mykolaychuka Street
  • 23 Roksolyany Street
  • 40 Volodymyra Velykoho Street
  • 3a Kyrylivska Street
  • 195 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street
  • 12 Halytska Street (Vynnyky)
  • Patona Street

A new branch on Chervona Kalyny Avenue is also expected to open soon.

If you are raising children or supporting persons with disabilities, live in the Lviv community, and need assistance, please contact the Dzherelo Centre at +380 97 400 22 88 to learn more about the day-care service.
