No one chooses to live on the streets. Homelessness is not about laziness or indifference — it is often the result of loss, betrayal, illness, poverty, or war.
At Dzherelo Centre, we do not judge. We reach out to those in the most vulnerable situations and offer help with dignity and compassion.
Who do we support?
We support people who:
- have lost their housing and ended up on the street;
- live outdoors or in temporary conditions;
- have no permanent place of residence.
How do we help?
At our social work branch for homeless people located at 3A Kyrylivska St., people can:
- stay overnight in a warm, safe space (from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM);
- warm up, take a shower, and have a meal;
- wash their clothes and receive clean clothing, shoes, and hygiene items;
- receive basic medical care.
Our social workers also:
- assist with restoring identity documents;
- support with residence registration;
- help in the search for employment.
How to access the services?
To access branch services, a person must:
- be sober upon arrival;
- have a recent chest X-ray (fluorography), which can be done free of charge at St. Panteleimon Hospital (9 Mykolaichuka Street).
Please visit Dzherelo Centre at 3A Kyrylivska Street in person.
If you know someone living on the street, call at 097 400 22 88.
Our social workers also go on-site during working hours to provide assistance as part of social patrol services.
