About us

Center
“Dzherelo”

Our story

Dzherelo’s story began in 1990 with the founding of “Nadiya,” a parents’ association advocating for children with cerebral palsy. Later, an educational and rehabilitation centre was established, which was eventually reorganized into the Centre for Social Services and Rehabilitation.

Our story

Vision

We provide high-quality, person- and family-centered social and rehabilitation services. A multidisciplinary team delivers a comprehensive range of services. Our goal is advocacy, education, and prevention — to help individuals avoid falling into difficult life situations

Dzherelo Centre provides over 20 social and rehabilitation services for various population groups in the Lviv community: children and youth with disabilities, internally displaced persons, veterans, survivors of domestic violence, older adults, large and guardian families, and people experiencing homelessness.
Our team consists of over 400 professionals working across 22 locations, assisting more than 10,000 community members.
The Centre works to prevent social crises and scale effective support models at the national level.

Mission

Dzherelo’s mission is to create opportunities for a better quality of life for people with disabilities, individuals facing difficult life circumstances, and vulnerable groups — along with their families and communities. We work both regionally and nationally to fulfill this mission through prevention, improved living conditions, and enhancing self-sufficiency among community members.
