Every person has the right to a home — not just a roof over their head, but a space where they are respected, heard, and supported.
The House of Supported Living is designed for people with disabilities who want to live independently, make their own choices, and take an active part in community life.
This is the first facility of its kind in Ukraine that is owned and funded by the Lviv community. It represents a new standard in the quality of social services.
Who do we support?
The House welcomes:
-adults (18+) with disabilities
-individuals who have lost parents or guardians
-those wishing to live separately from their families
-internally displaced persons and veterans with disabilities
How do we help?
Up to 20 residents live in the House, supported by a dedicated team:
-live-in assistants who offer help with daily tasks
-social workers
-a manager-administrator
We don’t take over people’s lives — we’re there when needed, offering support with the things that are truly difficult.
Residents are involved in planning their daily routines, have personal space, make decisions, and are active in community life. This is about dignity, autonomy, and meaningful support.
In addition to living in the House, residents may also access:
-day care services
-employment support
-social adaptation
The House of Supported Living is more than a place to stay — it’s a home where every person has the right to belong and to live fully.
