Packages containing sweets, letters, and heartfelt wishes were received by children and young people attending the day care and rehabilitation programs.

For the third consecutive year, children and youth from the day care programs of the Dzherelo Centre for Social Services and Rehabilitation have felt the warmth and care of friends from Germany.

Thanks to the initiative of Mykhajlo and Petra Zaczkiewicz and the students of Lise-Meitner High School in Maxdorf, Germany, a total of 343 gifts were collected. Logistical support and delivery were made possible with the help of the public organization “Narodna Samooborona Lvivshchyny” and the German-Ukrainian Association “Rhein Neckar”.

Each package contained sweets and a personal letter with sincere wishes from the donors. Such attention creates a true sense of celebration and support, which is especially important for those facing difficult times today.

The personalized gifts from German schoolchildren are more than just packages of treats – they are a genuine gesture of kindness, solidarity, and heartfelt warmth, bringing children joy and renewed faith in human support.
