Homelessness is not about laziness or indifference \u2014 it is often the result of loss, betrayal, illness, poverty, or war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Dzherelo Centre, we do not judge. We reach out to those in the most vulnerable situations and offer help with dignity and compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who do we support?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We support people who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have lost their housing and ended up on the street;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>live outdoors or in temporary conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have no permanent place of residence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:39px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do we help?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At our social work branch for homeless people located at 3A Kyrylivska St., people can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>stay overnight in a warm, safe space (from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>warm up, take a shower, and have a meal;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wash their clothes and receive clean clothing, shoes, and hygiene items;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receive basic medical care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our social workers also:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>assist with restoring identity documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support with residence registration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>help in the search for employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to access the services?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To access branch services, a person must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be sober upon arrival;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have a recent chest X-ray (fluorography), which can be done free of charge at St. Panteleimon Hospital (9 Mykolaichuka Street).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please visit Dzherelo Centre at 3A Kyrylivska Street in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you know someone living on the street, call at 097 400 22 88.<br>Our social workers also go on-site during working hours to provide assistance as part of social patrol services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social work branch for homeless people:<br>3A Kyrylivska Street<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No one chooses to live on the streets.
